What are the Symptoms of CF?
People with CF have a variety of symptoms including:
- Very salty-tasting skin
- Constant coughing and mucus production
- Wheezing and/or shortness of breath
- Frequent lung infections
- Poor weight gain/growth
- Stool and bowl issues
- Clubbed fingers
- Polyp growth in the nose and sinuses
Although these are the most common symptoms of a Cystic Fibrosis patient, they seem to vary from person to person due to the thousands of different mutations of the CF gene.
